Overview
The Keep Docs Updated Global Page module provides a centralized view to monitor and manage outdated pages across all Confluence spaces in your instance. This powerful tool helps content managers and administrators maintain documentation quality by identifying pages that haven't been updated recently.
Quick Start
Accessing the Global Page
Navigate to the Confluence sidebar
Click Apps → Your apps
Select Keep Docs Updated (Development)
Interface Overview
The Global Page interface consists of three main sections:
1. Filter Panel (Top Section)
Configure search criteria to find outdated pages:
Filter | Description |
|---|---|
Query Type | Select between "My Owned" or "Mentioned Me" to filter by ownership or @mentions |
Older Than | Set a date threshold to find pages not updated since this date |
Max Results | Limit the number of results displayed (up to 500) |
2. Results Table
Displays matching pages with the following columns:
Page - Page title (clickable link)
Space - Space where the page resides
Type - Content type (Page, Blog, etc.)
Last Updated - Date of last modification
Updated By - User who made the last update
Owned By - Page owner
Days Since Update - Number of days since last update
3. Action Buttons
Export CSV - Download results as a CSV file

Features
Query Type Options
My Owned
View all pages you own that haven't been updated recently.
Mentioned Me
Find pages where you've been @mentioned, indicating you're responsible for updates.
Example: When a user adds @aptify in a page, it appears in your "Mentioned Me" results.
Export Functionality
Click Export CSV to download the current results with all columns including page URLs, perfect for:
Reporting to management
Sharing with team members
Bulk analysis in Excel
Pagination
Use the Rows per page dropdown (bottom) to control how many results display per page (20, 50, or 100 rows).
Configuration Options
Basic Filters
Query Type: Select your view preference
My Owned: Pages you created/own
Mentioned Me: Pages with your @mention
Older Than: Click the calendar icon to select a date
Pages not updated since this date will appear
Max Results: Enter a number
Controls maximum results returned
Click Apply Filters to execute the search
Advanced Usage
Pro Tip: Start with a broad search (e.g., 100 max results, 30 days old), then refine based on what you find.
FAQ
Q: What does "Days Since Update" mean?
A: The number of calendar days since the page was last modified.
Q: Can I filter by specific spaces?
A: The Global Page shows results across all spaces. Use the Space Page module for space-specific filtering.
Q: Why don't I see any results?
A: Check your filters - you may need to increase "Max Results" or adjust the "Older Than" date.
Q: How is "Mentioned Me" determined?
A: Pages where other users have added your @mention (e.g., @username) in the content.
Q: Can I edit pages directly from this view?
A: No, click the page title link to open the page in Confluence, then edit normally.
