What is Page Owner Manager?

Page Owner Manager helps Confluence administrators and team leads maintain clear page ownership across their instance. It answers two simple questions: "Who owns this page?" and "What should we do about pages owned by users who have left?"

How It Works

The app provides two modules:

  • Page Owner Tools (Apps > Page Owner Manager) — Reporting tools for all users to view page ownership by space or by user, with filtering and CSV export.

  • Admin Settings (Confluence Administration > Apps > Page Owner Manager) — Management tools for administrators to find orphaned pages and transfer ownership.

Common Use Cases

  • Content audits — Identify who owns what across your Confluence spaces.

  • User offboarding — When a team member leaves, find and reassign their pages to an active user.

  • License cleanup — Discover pages owned by unlicensed users and transfer them before deprovisioning.

  • Governance & compliance — Ensure every page has an accountable, active owner.
